Ask anything

Real questions, answered with your numbers.

Ask the way you'd ask a friend who knows money. Vera reads the numbers you entered and runs its calculators before it answers.

Can I afford an $850K home?Which debt should I pay off first? How big should my emergency fund be?Could I retire at 45?What does a 1% advisory fee really cost me?My RSUs vest soon. What should I know?

How it works

Three steps, no paperwork.

1

Add a few numbers

Income, spending, savings, debts and goals. Rough is fine, and there's nothing to link.

2

Ask anything

Type a question or tap a suggestion. Vera runs the numbers in its calculators.

3

See the math and your options

Get a plain answer, the numbers behind it, and options to consider. Save the ones you like to your plan.

The math, not guesses

Every number comes from a tested calculator.

The AI explains; the calculators do the math. That keeps the numbers consistent and checkable.

  • Retirement odds from 5,000 simulated markets
  • Debt payoff month by month, highest rate first or smallest balance first
  • Home affordability with the full monthly cost and the cash left after closing
  • Taxes with U.S. federal and state estimates
  • Advisory fees and what they cost over decades
Vera's fee calculator: a 1% fee costs $1,398,454 over 38 years

Private by design

Your numbers stay on your phone.

  • No account and no sign-in. What you enter is stored on your phone.
  • No bank logins. Vera doesn't connect to your accounts, so it can't see or move money.
  • No ads. Your data is never sold.
  • You're in control. Vera asks before it sends a question to its AI, Anthropic's Claude, and "Delete my data" erases everything in one tap.

If you leave "Help improve Vera" on, Vera keeps your questions and its answers for 90 days, without your numbers, name or device ID, to learn what people ask. You can turn it off in the app. Read the privacy policy.
